I just got back from a gorgeous trip to Jemez!

I won't have time to show you the pics and tell the story 

until this weekend, but the colors were amazing.

This painting was painted in late spring, when

the leaves were that green that is so hard to mix

and even harder to describe.

I want to just say "spring" green.

Oh my gosh, it's been SO long!!

Hi all,

I just realized that I haven't posted since July. JULY!

You probably think I dropped off the face of the earth.

I didn't.

I have just been busy.

Trying to balance work and play.

I'm not going to catch up here, but i will start the process.

I have some big news coming about my old-school lined work.

I have have to finish a couple more pieces.

I've been plein air painting in Taos and Abiquiu, 

and continue on in Jemez this week.

I had a fabulous and fun ART PARTY on September 3,

and it was such a success. 

I got to see so many collectors, met some new ones, 

had great food, listened to wonderful music.

And sold a lot of paintings!
