new year, old goals, new goals

It's a new year.

Welcome 2020!

I hope we all have the best year EVER.

I have some old goals and some new ones too.

It seems that in between painting at Los Poblanos this year,

I am also painting in the studio.

I have started painting these little daily 6x6s  

and am loving it.

I pull a photo out of my photo resource cart

and start a loose sketch.

I block in the main shapes and shadows,

hit the highlights, then put the photo away,

and finish the painting.

These little paintings are available through Paypal.

Painting ship out after they have dried and varnished,

usually about 2-2 1/2 weeks.

They are shipped by Priority Mail and arrive within

I hope to complete 120 paintings and curate an exhibition

and possible produce a book about my experience

I am also planning knee replacement surgery this year.
