Greetings! I am so busy but just had to do a daily painting today, I can't tell you how much I miss them. Pretty soon I'll be back at it.
This piece reminds me so much of the spring that's headed our way. It's still wet and not sealed yet, so it will be a little glossier upon arrival. I wanted to add colors that made me think of Easter egg hunts and rampant wildflowers. We have purple hyacinths blooming outside and I didn't even notice them because I've been buried in the studio. There are buds on the apple tree and violets are popping out of the ground. Happy Spring!.
Beautiful painting - even though most folks think of NM as a desert there are little jewels like this hidden everwhere. I miss spring in NM so much. I miss summer and fall there - I guess I just miss home.
