Well, here it is, my "Painting a Week", I really miss the daily pieces, can't wait to get back to it. This is from a photo I took up in Taos, a cute old hidden adobe surrounded by all the colors of fall foliage. I am hard at work on the show paintings, I will preview a few of those later in the week.

Greetings! I am so busy but just had to do a daily painting today, I can't tell you how much I miss them. Pretty soon I'll be back at it.

This piece reminds me so much of the spring that's headed our way. It's still wet and not sealed yet, so it will be a little glossier upon arrival. I wanted to add colors that made me think of Easter egg hunts and rampant wildflowers. We have purple hyacinths blooming outside and I didn't even notice them because I've been buried in the studio. There are buds on the apple tree and violets are popping out of the ground. Happy Spring!.
