I called this painting "Golden Memories"  for a few reasons.

One, it's of the beautiful old church in Golden, NM

Two, you used to be able to drive right up to the front door.

Then, they blocked off the church and the front area with a barrier.

But you could still see the church and take pictures.

Three, then they re-plastered the church and instead of a beautiful creamy white, it is now a two-toned brown and white adobe.

Four, now they have the curvy drive up to the church totally blocked off and I guess you can only go on the days they have Mass.

So all we have is our sweet memories of this little church. 

Unless you want to make the trek for Mass.
