"SLEEPY ADOBE"18" x 24" Acrylic on Canvas
This is one of my favorite paintings. I have had it for a year or so and thought about keeping it myself but have decided to offer it up for auction. It's a very peaceful scene depicting an old adobe with sunflowers in the foreground and night closing in. All of my paintings for the Old Town show are done and delivered. I will be at an artist's reception at about 5:30pm this Friday and painting on Saturday from 12pm-4pm. If you're out and about and would like to come and say hi, I would love to see you. Thanks!
Wonderful painting. I love the dark sky spread out above those beautiful sunflowers - great contrast. Oh how I wish I were home and could come to your show...
