"TYPICAL TAOS"

"TYPICAL TAOS"
This is one of those scenes that I love. An old truck parked in Arroyo Seco , complete with hollyhocks and a backdrop of mountains. The people were taking a photo of the license plate for some reason. I was getting breakfast burritos from the Abe's Cantina, home of the absolute BEST breakfast burritos in New Mexico and probably the world!

  1. Great minds think alike! Check out this blog belonging to Ron Morrison and look at his April 26th posting - It was a photo I sent him that I took when I was home the last time.

  2. Thank you for the great picture - I miss Taos every day that I am not there. I love those rusty old trucks and the beautiful flowers. Who doesn't love chamisa? Thanks also for a heads-up on the best breakfast burrito - I'll be sure and check it out. :o) I had though that the best breakfast was the breakfast enchilada at Michael's Kitchen. :o)

  3. Cara, I know, I really want one of those old trucks myself, with an image of one of my paintings on the side and a string of red chile hanging off of the side mirror!

    chrisb,
I totally forgot about the enchilada at Michael's Kitchen. Tortilla Reonada, I think it's called. Totally in a different category. Abe's is something to eat on the run when you're headed out somewhere and Michaels, aaaah, that is a place to sit with friends and family and savor. They're both great!
