This quiet little river - actually it's a beautiful big river, was on the backroads when you turn off to go to the village of Pilar on the way to Taos. I started the painting on location but decided to finish it today and yeah! I got it done. I've been working on a 30"x40" painting for a big fundraising event this Saturday so I haven't had a lot of time, but this is the first of many.
I absolutely love this painting!
