This is another piece that I've been hanging on to. These are my Canyon Women walking up a pathway as evening closes in. The old adobe has handmade red chile ristras hanging from the eaves. As I was painting, I imagined that these women had done a hard day's work and were just standing back, taking a break and surveying their handiwork. I really like the way the light embraces the top of the path and the adobe house.
Another good one. I agree, the play of light is very nice. I like the patch of sunlight green as though the sun is about to set.
