Wow, I can't believe tomorrow is Saturday. Already. And fall is already here. Green chile is roasting everywhere and the state fair ends this weekend. Time is passing way too fast for me. Before you know it, it's going to be Christmas and New Year's Eve.

I mailed out over 200 brochures today to the upcoming Alameda Studio Tour that will be happening on October 8 and 9 from 10am - 5pm.

I am personally inviting you out to visit my home and studio, have some refreshments, and just hang out and hopefully enjoy my work! We are all getting so excited and amped up about Preview night too. If you are interested in coming to Preview night or the studio tour, you can go to www.alamedastudiotour.com and download a brochure and map. You will also be able to pick up brochures at the following locations starting October 1st:

Alameda Greenhouse
La Parada de Alameda
Jericho Nursery
Cravin' Cookies
Flying Star
There will also be a tent at the school on the corner of 4th Street and Alameda. Please come!

Other than that, I am organizing for Artfest. I already have a few large paintings done and am working on the smaller paintings now. Frames should be here starting next week and I am getting anxious to see them. This will be the first time I have framed large oil paintings. I am starting to clean up for the tour, putting things away, organizing my reference photos instead of just leaving them scattered everywhere. I may even mop the floor! I'm also getting ready for a paint out to Ghost Ranch - I'm always up for that.
So, my life is cranking along, as usual, I hope yours is going well too. Happy Fall!
