new direction

 "WINDOWSILL"
6X6"
oil on panel

"BLOOMS"
8x10"
oil on panel

Oh my goodness, I think I've found my calling.
I've always admired thick, juicy, impasto paintings.
I never thought that one day I would be painting them.

I am learning by trial and error and reading about how to paint with a knife.

I absolutely can't wait to get out on location and see what happens....

  3. I like this style of painting generally (have a Michelle Chrisman of the Taos Gorge) and am very interested to see your work in this medium. "Blooms" is very nice.

  4. Carol, thank you - you are so sweet and I feel honored, because your work is very beautiful.

Karen, thank you. And one day I want to own a camper like your and go glamping all over the globe!

Todd, Michelle is a friend of mine.
I so admire her work too, but could never ever duplicate her palette.
    Thank you !
