"SANDIA SHADOWS"
8x8"
oil on cradled board
$150
This scene is a huge field of ripe ears of corn
in a Corrales, New Mexico cornfield.
The corn takes second place to the beautiful shadows of
the Sandia mountains in the background.
They talk about the "watermelon" colors of the Sandias
before sunset but these morning shades of blues and purples
are also spectacular in their own way.
