"VISITING"

"VISITING"
8"X8"
SOLD
Yesterday was a busy day. I finished up two commissions, one daily painting, and three 150 Challenge paintings. Also, my little lab, Bella, got stung by a bee and her face got to about three times its size, so it was off to the vet for us. She had to get a shot and she seems to be fine this morning.
I was working on a commission similar to the painting above, and I thank Scott for giving me the idea. It's a combinastion of an adobe church, canyon women, and flowers. I like how it turned out so well that I created two more. The contrasts are all there; the blue of the canyon women next to the orange of the flowers, the blue mountains against the red/orange roof of the church. This painting totally says New Mexico! Purchase information is below:

  1. I'm glad you are expanding on this idea Dee, because this painting is very special. The simplicity of the figures and the contrasting colors and chunky, soft shapes are wonderful.
