ALMOST OVER
I can't believe that the 150 Challenge Show is almost over - only one more week. The gallery has sold over half of the paintings, which is fantastic. Thank you to all of the buyers, thank you to all who came to support me and see the show, and thank you to the gallery, for being so sweet and efficient.
NEW PROJECTS
Today I am starting back to work. I'm always excited and feel a little overwhelmed until I actually sit down in the studio and start painting. Then I seem to get in the zone and things just start to flow. Here's what I have coming up:
Paint 3 paintings for a July opening at Johnsons Gallery in Madrid
Paint several commission pieces
Paint 6 new paintings for One Artist Road in Santa Fe
Paint 3 paintings for a juried show at Millicent Rogers Museum in Taos
Paint some new large bold work for a group show coming up in September at Weems Uptown Start organizing and painting for Artfest
Get back to offering my small daily paintings for purchase on my blog
Go to several upcoming plein air paintouts throughout New Mexico
See about making calenders, cards, and magnets for Artfest
Think about doing some ornaments for Artfest
Get ready for the Alameda Studio Tour in October
Whew - I think I just made myself tired. Anyway, I will be calling the gallery today to find out which 150 paintings are left and I will try to post some of them for you this week. Thank you guys and stay tuned.
