"SHADES OF GREY"
This painting is now available at Weems Gallery Uptown. When I finished painting it, my daughter whisked it away to her room and kept it there for about two years. Now she has chosen several small pieces from the 150 Show that she would like me to replicate for her, so she chose to give up something to get something new! This is the only acrylic I have without any lines. If you are interested in thie piece, please email the gallery at www.weemsgallery.com or call
MARK YOUR CALENDERS!
WEEMS $285 SHOW AND SALE IS COMING UP!
Weems will have their upcoming and ever-popular $285 show on Saturday, July 16, 2011.
This show is so fun!
A good number of artists bring in work that sells for well over $1000 and up and everything in the show is priced at $285 or less. There are some fantastic bargains and Weems does this show every year mainly to say a nice thank you to all of their customers for their continued patronage. The doors open at 10am and most of the work is usually gone by 1pm. I will have all of my lined work in the show - all of my paintings in the gallery with linework will be priced at $285 or less. Some works are 30"x40" and some smaller pieces will be priced at $50.
So I guess you know what that means?
I will be painting oils for Artfest!
I am so excited. I will have calenders, cards, magnets, maybe a few ornaments and smaller paintings starting at 4"x4" for $25. I will also have some nice large works that hopefully, will knock your socks off. I am setting up my schedule right now and have started a new blog to showcase the Artfest paintings as they come off the easel. The new blog is www.artfest2011.blogspot.com. More later on that.
Art season has begun!
