This painting sings to me!
It says Taos.
It says romance.
It says bygone days.
It says STOP and smell the apple blossoms.
When I paint from photos,
I don't normally post them because
I want you to experience the scene for the first time.
But I think it's sometimes interesting to see
where the initial inspiration comes from:
As you can see, I removed the big post and the fence.
I also removed the building on the far left.
I initially left the gate on the far right
but it got covered by paint.
