My first daily painting of 2011! I realized something today - it either has to be an "oil" day or an "acrylic" day. It's too confusing to try to accomplish both. So one day I will spend on daily paintings and the next day I will spend on oils for the 150 Challange. I also finished up two small commissions and will post those tomorrow. Anyway, I am really excited to begin the new year and this was the photo that spoke to me today. It's from a day trip I took to Abiquiu this past year. The old morada is very close to Georgia O'Keefe's house and I think the colors came out lovely. Click on the image to enlarge. Purchase information is below.
